We are looking for:

• Configuration Controller to support activities of our engineering team.

Tasks

• Responsibility for one or more engine types with regard to configuration control
• Reviewing and evaluating manufacturer specifications (Engine Manual, Service Bulletins, IPC, etc.) and implementing them in MTU’s IT systems (master data maintenance)
• Creating and maintaining the Master Parts List (MPL) in central IT systems
• Creating and maintaining material linkages in accordance with manufacturer and engineering specifications in central IT systems
• Contributing to the creation/modification of engine assembly structures and bills of materials
• Preparing technical build proposals (Onlogs) in compliance with modification requirements (MCC) and version regulations (SBs, Manuals, TOs)
• Verifying the logistical Onlog after completion of order planning/disposition and initiating corrections if necessary
• Ensuring the legal configuration of engines prior to delivery to the customer by reviewing the final logistical Onlog using the Dispo Control Sheet (DCS) in close cooperation with the planners
• Supporting the further development of configuration control processes and tools by participating in analyses and developing improvement measures
• Supporting audits and process analyses using appropriate MTU quality methods

Requirements

• University degree in logistics engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields
• 6.1 degree
• Relevant experience in the field of aviation, or in related areas (aircraft engine mechanic, aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, or similar)
• Knowledge of all IT systems relevant to configuration control (ECMS, MBCS, SAP, etc.)
• Understanding of processes and workflows in the logistics chain (Supply Chain Management)
• Skills in moderation techniques and leading goal-oriented meetings
• Strong proficiency in standard office software (MS Office)
• Process-oriented mindset, precision, and reliability
• Analytical thinking, organizational skills, team spirit, communication skills, and flexibility
• Willingness to travel occasionally and intercultural competence
• English language proficiency (fluent written and spoken communication, ability to interpret technical literature)
