Content Editor

Content Distribution is looking for an experienced remote Editor who will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and quality standards of our content before publication. You will edit content, provide feedback, and coach new writers joining Content Distribution. You’ll also help our company and our clients achieve their growth goals by editing content that connects with their target audiences and brings eyes to their sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a team of 3–4 content writers
• Provide timely feedback on first drafts and revisions
• Assign content to writers
• Train new writers joining our company
• Ensure articles are ready for QA before submitting them
• Attend and contribute to editorial meetings
• Update the knowledge base with content relevant to your role

EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

• Strong writing and proofreading skills
• Fluent in the English Language
• Minimum one year of experience
• Ability to give constructive feedback
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with minimal supervision in a collaborative and positive team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A collaborative team player who values the success of the whole team, in addition to their own success
