Grammer Business Center (GBC) plays a crucial role in supporting Grammer's global operations by integrating essential functions such as accounting, procurement, HR, IT and sales. As a shared services center, GBC provides transactional services, expert support, and data analysis to various Grammer locations worldwide, ensuring efficiency and streamlining processes across departments.
We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager responsible for managing all corporate tax-related matters within our company. This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and supporting the company’s financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Planning: Develop and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws.
- Coordination with Auditors: Collaborate with external auditors during tax audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Research and Analysis: Monitor and analyze changes in tax laws and assess their impact on business operations.
- Tax Accounting and Reporting: Work with regional tax and accounting teams to ensure proper tax reporting in line with IFRS standards.
- Local Coordination: Partner with local tax advisors and the company's operations team to address tax challenges.
- International Tax Planning: Collaborate with regional tax and accounting teams to develop and implement strategies to reduce tax exposure through international transactions and supply chain optimization.
- Transfer Pricing: Maintain policies and prepare documentation for transfer pricing on intercompany transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher. Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate tax.
- Strong background in international tax and transfer pricing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and provide practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
