We are currently seeking an experienced Creative Designer to join our team and support our partner company, Orchestra. Orchestra operates within a network of eight strategic communication and marketing agencies, including BerlinRosen, Derris, Glen Echo Group, Inkhouse, Message Lab, M18, Onward, and Brightmode Talent. Collectively, they boast nearly 700 storytellers and strategists across 12 cities in North America and Europe. This network of leading agencies partners with companies, organizations, and business leaders in high-growth industries such as consumer products, climate and sustainability, education, social impact, hospitality, healthcare, real estate, and technology.
As a Creative Designer, you will support the strategy for business development efforts, help shape firm and network-wide new business approaches, and guide & execute the marketing strategy. You will work on multiple accounts toproduce and edit clean, eye-catching and exceptional presentations and proposals under tight deadlines for a diverserange of prospective clients. A creative point of view, eye for detail and the ability to critically think & problem solve are critical.
The person in this role should work well with a team, as well as independently; take ownership of creative projects and lead with art direction; have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and respond to rapidly changing priorities; have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Layout, design and clean up proposals and presentations while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Visualize creative direction for sample campaigns and presentations.
- Work across multiple design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Leverage knowledge of Google Slides for laying out and formatting presentations and proposals.
- Design marketing collaterals such as social media posts, emailers, newsletters, and award submissions.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience with design and art direction, preferably in an agency setting (or a comparable fast-paced environment).
- Passionate about design and interpreting complex ideas visually through color, photography, and typography.
- Meticulously detail-oriented, ensuring precision in every aspect — dotting every 'i', adjusting every inch mark on asmart quote, reviewing design content comprehensively, & addressing all details such as footmarks and apostrophes.
- Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility by proactively asking questions to understand concepts and interpret directions visually. Views critiques as valuable learning opportunities and approaches negative feedback as anexciting challenge for creative problem-solving.
- Ready for a fast-paced environment, staying calm under pressure or when priorities must change to meet a last-minute deadline quickly.
- Exceptional multitasking skills, adept at supporting multiple projects at once and with a strong self-organizationsystem to stay on top of all deadlines.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Google Docs and Google Slides and how to use them to bring a team’s vision to life.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in creating digital graphics, motion graphics and GIFS is a plus.
