JOB DESCRIPTION

The CPQM is the overall customer interface for series production quality topics for the products within her/his area of responsibility. The main objective of the function is to achieve and maintain customer satisfaction. The CPQM continuously monitors the quality performance externally and internally and initiates the necessary improvement activities and corrective actions in case of deviations.

This person forms the central interface for quality problems between the customer and the internal organization (BU quality, plant quality, R&D, QKAM, etc.).

IN YOUR DAY TO DAY JOB, YOU WILL:

  • Detailed assessment of the customer's quality indicators, identification of deviations and trends
  • Independent derivation of measures in the event of quality deviations
  • Initiate and follow-up of necessary improvement measures
  • Presentation and communication of customer-related quality information within the Business Area (BA UX)
  • Self-dependent reporting of quality KPI within the customer segment
  • Driving of preventive measures and corrective measures and supporting to the production plants worldwide
  • Conduct customers and internal quality interviews on frequent basis in order to monitor and improve the quality performance
  • Indirect management of employees in the Customer Quality area of the production plants, or through the respective quality management
  • Support production sites during customer visits, audits and quality improvement programs
  • Conduct customer-specific quality reviews
  • Continuous monitoring of quality performance in cooperation with the customer

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree with technical background or comparable studies (e.g. Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or Engineering)
  • Excellent communication skills, strong customer orientation and the ability to motivate team members
  • Teamwork capability and necessary perseverance are a prerequisite for this job
  • Professional experience in the automotive industry at least 5 years or at least 3 years in the automotive quality area
  • Good knowledge of quality methods and tools (FMEA, 8D)
  • Very good negotiable German and English skills (in word and writing)
  • Self-initiative, analytical skills and willingness to learn
  • Team-management experience (disciplinary or technical)
  • Project management skills
  • Intercultural competence
