Due to our rapid growth, we are currently seeking a Customer Sales Representative to support brokerage growth.
Job description
The Customer Sales Representative will play a pure business development function, establishing relationships, tracking and securing requests for information (RFI) and requests for proposal (RFP) as well as hunt for direct to contract opportunities with freight providers large and small primarily in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast United States. Evennon Logistics has an established accounts team
so you’ll have support managing relationships once developed.
Position requirements:
- Proven extensive sales experience and trusted relationships, preferably with US based Clients
- Proven track record of successfully executing sales campaigns.
- Must have a hunter mentality and relentless ability to source out new business.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with key clients
- Developing and implementing customized solutions to meet client transportation and logistics requirements
- Meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company
- Conducting regular business reviews with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with other departments within the company to ensure seamless service delivery to key clients
- Managing client contracts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Providing regular sales reports to management
Educational Background / Work Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales or account management role, with a focus on transportation and logistics, is preferred
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred
- Must be able to work from our office; no remote work options available
- Strong knowledge of working with different fleets (driven , reefer, flatbed ) and diverse commodity portfolio.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service orientation
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics regulations and laws is preferred
- Experience in managing key accounts in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred
- Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal - recommended
