Customs & Logistics Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle customs declarations, including verifying and processing necessary documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and permits) while ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations.
• Ensure proper classification of goods according to the Harmonized System (HS) codes and maintain compliance with duty exemption programs.
• Manage and maintain customs account books, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory requirements.
  Coordinate shipments, liaise with freight forwarders, arrange overseas product shipments, and manage inbound/outbound logistics.
• Oversee inventory flow, ensuring timely order processing, delivery reconciliation, and invoicing.
• Communicate with customers to track shipments, address concerns, collect satisfaction feedback, and monitor market trends.
• Maintain accurate records and support audits, invoicing, and compliance checks.
• Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Logistics, International Trade, Business or a related field.
• Experience in customs clearance, logistics, or supply chain management (preferably in a production or automotive industry) in the duration of at least 3 years.
• Knowledge of Serbian customs laws, free trade zone regulations, and international trade agreements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English.
