Job Summary:
XG Dynamics doo is seeking Cybersecurity R&D engineer. This role offers the flexibility of working either onsite in Belgrade, Serbia, or remotely, with periodic travel to Belgrade required.
The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and several years of experience in cyber security research. Familiarity with machine learning concepts (e.g. reinforcement learning) is a plus. This will be a dynamic role and will focus on the development of a hybrid simulation/emulation cybersecurity testbed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate with an interdisciplinary team of experts in machine learning and networking to enable reduction of reality gap in network model simulations
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and techniques
- Develop and implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the accuracy and effectiveness of cybersecurity testbed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
- Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly
- Engage in ongoing testbed research and participate in publications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is advance)
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity concepts to help build a simulation environment
- Familiar with existing cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and research (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK framework)
- Capable of programming languages like Python, Java or C++ and the ability to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code.
- Experience with Windows, LINUX, Android, and/or iOS operating systems
- Familiarity with tools and projects including Metasploit, openC2, and others
- Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMWare vSphere) and containerization technologies
- Familiarity with orchestration frameworks such as ANSIBLE
- Experience with network management, configuration, and diagnostics. SDN experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in English.
