DFM Engineer (Prod. Facility Malosiste) *(m/f/d)

Department: Production Engineering

Your challenges:

  • Monitoring CSR for each project and ensure compliance with these requirements
  • Use of technical experience in validating design changes and new processes in terms of applicability,
    identification of potential risks and costs or advising alternatives to the design team
  • Establishing the link between the customer and production sites to ensure timely and clear introduction of new drawings
  • Implementation of a complete DFM and assessment of the process validation process in relation to timelines and change management plans
  • Reviewing of JLR 2-D drawings from DFM, rationalization and ergonomic points of view with the aim to simplify the production process
  • Taking care of engineering documentation, cooperation and communication with clients and/or any other external body
    in order to meet the goal of developing and/or introducing a quality product in an economical way
  • Adherence to quality standards and legal norms

Your qualifications:

  • Engineering University Degree (minimum VI degree)
  • Self-motivated, proactive and result-oriented
  • Responsibility, systematic approach and proactivity
  • Ability to develop employees and develop good cross-department cooperation
  • Teamwork capabilities, reliable planning with deadline
  • Knowledge of Lean methodology and continuous improvement tools
  • Ready to work under pressure
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent in the use of MS Office
