Data Migration Engineer
Your tasks:
- Participate in the entire data migration process
- Creating an inventory of all data that needs to be migrated
- Providing technical support for the data migration process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently
- Create test cases for the migration testing and verification
- Creating business and technical documentation of the project process
- Automate the migration process through CI tools (e.g. Jenkins)
Your skills:
- University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent command of English
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
- Some experience as a business analyst
- Familiarity with modern database systems
- Ability to code in Java, Python, SQL
Nice to have skills:
- Business analysis
- In-depth understanding of database management systems with focus on PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server
- ETL (Extract, transform, load) and ELT methods for data extraction and manipulation
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
