We are looking for a colleague in the position:
Demand Planner
Belgrade
Key accountabilities includes:
- Management of volume phasing;
- Management of R&Os – clear visibility of what is in / out of the plan;
- Liaise with supply & operations on controlling inventory and mitigating service risks;
- Take ultimate responsibility for the monthly update of the category forecast submitted to the factory and to finance, including explanation of variances and risks and opportunities;
- Act boldly and decisively on delivering KPIs and continually look to improve processes;
- Working collaboratively and cross functionally to deliver strong service to the customer;
- Lead the SC inputs to the key monthly S&OP meetings on the category/portfolio e.g. with Factories, Marketing, Sales, and Finance. Actively seeking to understand the wider picture to bring a collaborative solution to the process, using data gathered from across the business;
- In conjunction with Marketing, Sales and Customer Planners, ensure all new products are developed and forecasted to satisfy customer requirements / conformance and successfully integrated into the supply chain, including follow ups to mitigate risks, and manage delisting processes to minimize waste;
- Creating a monthly cycle checklist to ensure focus areas are covered, and documenting all key forecasting assumptions;
- KPIs tracking: Service Fulfillment; weekly and monthly Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias, Stocks levels;
- Included in development of various planning tools;
- Accountable for stock cover within category and functional remit.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in demand planning;
- High proficiency in Windows/Microsoft based products;
- Advanced Excel – literacy;
- FMCG experience and SAP; SAP APO experience could be an advantage;
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to express ideas, plans & priorities in a concise manner at all levels;
- Desire to represent the Supply Chain and to take decisions in a dynamic fast-paced environment;
- Good knowledge of English language in speech and writing;
- Relationship building - ability to develop effective working relationships, both internally & externally.
