DevOps Engineer

Pollard Digital Solutions is looking for a talented individual to join our growing DevOps team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals wanting to be part of an exciting business environment, with worldwide customers and engineering teams in Canada, Iceland, and Serbia.

You will work closely with DevOps team and other engineer/development teams contributing towards the development and delivery for Pollard Banknote’s world-class lottery platform, products, and gaming experiences. With opportunities for growth and advancement within the role, this position is perfect for someone who loves problem-solving, reading logs, and writing terraform scripts.

What You’ll Do

As part of the team, you will be responsible to develop and maintain our infrastructure as code, and CI/CD using GitOps.

• Setup/maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform such as (EKS, RDS, ALB, and more)
• Work with Kubernetes, and Helm
• CI/CD
• Work closely with development teams.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or as a Developer.
• Experience in AWS.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience with infrastructure as code automation – Terraform.
• CI/CD tools (Bamboo/Jenkins).
• Knowledge of different database technologies (PostgreSQL, MariaDB) – Advantage.
• OS – Linux - Advantage.
• SCM – Git/bitbucket/gitlab – Advantage.
• Experience in working with Atlassian products – Advantage
• BS in Computer Science or related technical certifications.
• Fluent in English
• Strong problem solver with the ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty.
• Organized individual with great attention to detail, committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and a willingness to take initiative and drive results.
