Digital Marketing Assistant
Home-based position is open in Belgrade, Serbia
We are looking for someone who is web-savvy, social media enthusiast, smart and fluent in English to join our small team. As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you'll work from home five days a week and attend online meetings. You'll be expected to manage your work priorities within a set 40 hour week and adapt this to the needs of the Partners you support. Successful candidates will attend a "three" stage interview process.
Skills required for the role:
- Strong spoken and written English
- Strong verbal communication skills, project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and clients
- Strong organisational skills, regularly acting on own initiative
- Proficiency with Microsoft office packages
- Ability to create and implement social media campaigns and strategies
- Experience launching social media campaigns (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, writing an email newsletter etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and familiarity with third party scheduling, publishing and analytics platforms and tools
- Ability to identify and track relevant social media metrics
- Proven work experience as a Social media manager
- Hands-on experience using social media for brand awareness
- Familiarity with creating, running and monitoring social media ads (e.g. FB ads)
- Excellent copy and content writing skills (posts, newsletters, blogs etc.)
- Ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Familiarity with graphic and video design (ability to communicate and cooperate with the design team)
Responsibilities:
- Design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets
- Manage, create and publish original, high-quality content (engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts)
- Manage, create and send original, high-quality newsletters and press releases
- Administer clients’ social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content
- Liaise with writers and designers in content creation and strategy implementation
- Prepare client reports on online traffic and ROI
- Monitor progress and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
- Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
- Suggest, plan and organise campaigns to build community and boost brand awareness
- Coordinate with the marketing team and clients to ensure brand consistency
- Liaise with clients to stay updated on new products, features and other developments
- Maintain clients’ relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
- Working with other virtual assistants from other departments and external third parties as and when required
