Digital Product Manager (m/f)

Job Description:

The Digital Product Manager is responsible for defining and executing the digital product strategy, overseeing the development and management of digital platforms such as websites and mobile applications. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovative digital products that meet user needs and align with business objectives. You will also lead the exploration of emerging technologies to enhance user experience and drive growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and implement a digital product strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals, maximizing user engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, development, UX/UI, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless product launches.
  • User-Centered Design: Champion a user-centered design approach by gathering and analyzing user feedback to improve product features and user experience.
  • Technology Integration: Stay informed on digital trends, including AI, AR/VR, and mobile innovations, and integrate relevant technologies into the product offering.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital products, using data analytics to optimize features and enhance performance.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all digital platforms comply with relevant regulations and uphold the highest standards of data security and privacy.
  • Agile Management: Lead agile processes such as sprint planning and retrospectives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality digital products.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets for digital initiatives, ensuring efficient resource allocation while achieving business targets.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Fully comply with all occupational health and safety (OHS) and fire protection measures.
  • Policy Adherence: Operate in accordance with internal regulations and procedures made publicly available to all employees.
  • Corporate Values: Act in alignment with the core values of the group.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of a four-year secondary education (NQF Level 4) in economics, law, administration, or related fields.
  • Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital platforms.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced computer literacy (MS Office, Internet).
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English.
  • Additional Requirements: Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management tools, as well as a solid understanding of UX/UI principles and user behavior in digital environments.
