We are two growing YouTube channels dedicated to bringing history and engineering to life.
One tells powerful, cinematic stories from 20th-century military history: full of action, last stands, battlefield brilliance, and deeply human moments. The other dives into the world of machines — vehicles, planes, tanks, and the incredible (sometimes insane) feats of engineering behind them with an obsessive eye for detail.
Our videos are thoroughly researched, emotionally engaging, and visually rich. We’re not here to glorify war, we’re here to tell human stories from it, and to celebrate the ingenuity (and occasional madness) of human engineering.
We are looking for a Director to lead the production of 3D/2D animated films. The Director in our team oversees the entire process from shaping the story and guiding the script to supervising animation and final editing.
What you’ll do:
- Proofreading the script and interacting with scriptwriters.
- Creating storyboards and animatics, selecting the most effective artistic solutions to solve the problems of each movie.
- Interaction with historians on the selection of historical references.
- Setting tasks for 3D artists to create objects, characters, and locations.
- Setting tasks for the animation team to create scenes, control of work on animation, composition, lighting, and camera movement.
- Participate in the creation of the sound solution of the movie: selection of music or order to write a composer, work with voice actors.
- Editing, basic color correction, and working with effects.
- Optimization of work at all stages and search for new solutions.
What we’re looking for:
- Mastery of editing principles, work in editing programs, Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve.
- Mastery of a graphic editor/program for creating storyboards.
- Excellent knowledge of English C1 and above.
- Experience working with creative people and responsiveness.
- Ability to coordinate projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to solve tasks quickly.
- Creativity, organization, and focus on excellent results.
- Basic understanding of the Unreal Engine or familiarity with 3D animation would be a plus.
