Description:
HMD Transport is currently looking for a highly-motivated Dry Van and to join our team based in Belgrade.
As a Dispatcher you will play a crucial role at HMD Trucking by planning, booking and developing strong business relationships with drivers to achieve maximum profitability and their earnings.
What Kind of Candidate Is Suited for This Opportunity?
- At least two (2) years of experience in the USA trucking industry as broker or a dispatcher;
- Knowledge of geography, roads, and metric system of the USA;
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal;
- Excellent communications and negotiation skills;
- Service oriented individual with effective Customer interaction skills;
- Advanced ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
What Would Be Your Responsibilities?
- Plan and book drivers on the best ways to maximize their earnings, while delivering a high level of customer service to our customers and brokers;
- Maintain contact with drivers throughout the day;
- Collaborate with local dispatch team to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers;
- Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers;
- Communicate with freight brokers providing exceptional customer service;
- Monitor company equipment, comply with shop and safety requirements.
