Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and dispatch dry van loads to drivers efficiently
- Communicate with drivers to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
- Monitor routes and resolve any issues in real-time
- Maintain accurate records of loads, driver logs, and compliance documents
- Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers, shippers, and brokers
- Negotiate rates and coordinate with load boards and third-party carriers as needed
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience as a dispatcher in the dry van/trucking industry
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and logistics software
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
