We are currently recruiting for a professional, experienced and reliable person to act as our company’s first point of contact for emergency and non-emergency calls. The prospective candidate should have knowledge of federal driver hours regulations, proper logbook maintenance and other related legal requirement.
Responsibilities include:
- Knowledge of CN platform
- Knowledge of FMCSA Hours-of-Service regulations and experience assisting with ELD
- Ensures Safety is the main priority by following, communicating and enforcing company policies and procedures
- Assisting drivers on the proper use of the ELD system
- Monitoring the driver's working hours and ensuring that they are in compliance with regulations
- Updating logbooks during the trip
- Reporting appropriate information to the authorities if a change of plan occurs or if the truck stops
- Maintaining accuracy and security of logbooks
- Maintain reporting of all issues encountered and all steps taken for resolution
- Communicate effective to keep management informed of outstanding issues
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Skills / Qualifications:
- Previous experience on platform CN connected ELD will consider as advantage
- Knowledge of federal regulations on driver hours
- Previous experience in making truck logbooks
- Understanding of proper logbook keeping and updating
- The ability to accurately monitor the driver's working hours and other relevant information
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- English (both verbal and written) is a must
