Educational Presentation Slide Designer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Educational Presentation Slide Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a PowerPoint wizard, have a strong background in graphic design and a passion for IT / cybersecurity. You will be responsible for designing visually appealing and educationally effective PowerPoint presentations that align with our curriculum and educational standards. The slides will be used in the delivery of live classes and also to record videos used on our student site and some will also be put on YouTube.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create high-quality PowerPoint slides for educational presentations.
- Work closely with educators and course developers to ensure the material is accurate and engaging.
- Develop visually appealing graphics, charts, and infographics to enhance learning.
- Ensure consistency in design and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Incorporate feedback to refine and improve presentations.
Qualifications:
- High School or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Education, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience with creating PowerPoint animations, custom shapes, and precise formatting of objects.
- Strong understanding of design principles and visual storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail to create precise and visually consistent and high-quality slides.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with educational content standards and instructional design.
- Knowledge of current trends in educational technology and design.
