We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. Our goal is to train you to become a fully independent BIM Electrical Engineer, capable of managing complex projects and solving building-related challenges using technical expertise and advanced software applications.
As a Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with the Company Director and junior engineers on projects based in Sydney, assisting electrical contractors in design development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of Low Voltage (LV) Electrical Distribution Systems
- Cable Containment System Design
- Power & Lighting System Design
- Communication Systems Design
- Security & Access Control System Design
- Developing Revit and AutoCAD system drawings
- Responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) from contractors
- Reviewing and approving shop drawings
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Electrical)
- No experience required, candidates with experience in building services design as an Electrical Engineer will be preferred(multiple positions available)
- Hands-on experience with BIM/Revit & AutoCAD
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and modelling
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines
- A team player with a positive attitude, flexibility, and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
