Background

The purpose of the assignment is to provide the technical expertise required to build the capacity of the Administration for Financing and Promoting Energy Efficiency (EEA) of the Republic of Serbia, to support its effective operation, and to assist in the implementation of existing and new support schemes and programs aimed at improving energy efficiency and achieve sector decarbonization.

The assignment is implemented in the scope of EU-funded Action "Support for the operation of the administration for Financing and Promoting Energy Efficiency in Serbia".

Position: Electrical Engineering-Time Engineers

The consortium seeks candidates for the ongoing tender. In case of award, the engineers will work full-time in EEA’s premises for the period of 30 months. This team will serve as an essential interface with EEA staff, ensuring the swift adoption of Technical Assistance (TA) results. Additionally, the team will assist in daily operations, communication with beneficiaries, preparation of technical and other documents, evaluation of public calls, MVR activities, and the use of software tools.

The engineers will be engaged according to the national labour legislation.

Tentative start of engagement: October 2024.

Education:

• Advanced degree (MSc) corresponding to 300 ECTS in Electrical Engineering.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience post-degree for each engineer.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English and Serbian.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Possession of a relevant license as a responsible engineering designer or responsible energy efficiency designer issued by a competent authority is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Interface with EEA staff to facilitate the fast adoption of TA results.
• Assist in daily operations and communication with beneficiaries.
• Prepare various technical and other documents.
• Evaluate public calls and engage in MVR activities.
