CRADDOCK Inc. is seeking to recruit the services of an Electrical Foreman to work on a rotation basis in Libya. The successful candidate will be based in a desert location and will be working for one of our clients in the oil and gas industry.
The ideal candidate should be able to undertake maintenance, repair, testing and installation of a wide variety of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
The candidate should have experience in the following areas:
- Large and small power generation units
- High voltage transmission system (34.5 & 69 kV)
- High, medium & low voltage distribution systems and their associated switchgear
- Power transformers
- Control equipment and protection devices
- A large number and variety of motor drives, including high horsepower units
- Control and monitoring system, including sophisticated electronic equipment
- UPS systems and airfield lighting systems
- Commercial and domestic electrical systems & equipment in classified areas of the plant
Responsibilities:
- Perform work and directs others to ensure that all tasks are carried out to the highest standards
- Ensure that all electrical equipment is maintained, repaired and tested in a timely manner
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Monitor and report on the performance of electrical equipment
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field (preferably in the oil and gas industry)
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
