Maintenance Technician – Automated Production Lines
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our automated production lines. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in maintaining mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with a hands-on approach to solving equipment issues and improving machine availability.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure continuous and reliable operation of automated lines and machinery.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
Analyze and solve equipment stoppages, performing root cause analysis and rapid intervention.
Support line set-up and assist operators with fine-tuning production parameters.
Develop and implement preventive and situational maintenance plans.
Contribute to audits and certification processes (ISO/IATF 16949, ISO 14001).
Propose and execute actions to improve machine OEE and reduce failure rates.
Perform daily and scheduled equipment inspections and safety checks.
Manage maintenance-related documentation and follow up on improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience in maintenance of production equipment (mechanical, pneumatic, and electric systems).
Experience with automated lines, especially those involving robotic systems, is highly desirable.
Basic knowledge of PLC programming is a strong plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills – able to resolve 85%+ of common equipment issues.
Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices.
Capable of managing spare parts inventory and identifying frequently damaged parts.
Competence in OEE monitoring and improvement actions.
Good knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 quality and environmental systems.
Ability to work under pressure, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong logical and analytical thinking.
Ability to train and support operators and junior staff.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Technical/Vocational Education in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
Fluent in Serbian (mother tongue) and English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
