HR World Media is a leading media company that organizes thought leadership HR events, both in-person and virtual. We bring together senior HR professionals and industry experts to exchange insights, foster innovation, and shape the future of work.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Manager to join our international team and help us deliver engaging, impactful events. If you’re passionate about logistics, love managing moving pieces, and enjoy working collaboratively, this could be your next exciting role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver all logistical aspects of events, from pre-event prep to on-site execution
  • Coordinate with venues, catering, AV, and other suppliers to ensure all event requirements are met
  • Support attendee registration and check-in processes for a smooth participant experience
  • Work closely with sponsors and exhibitors to facilitate their participation and ensure deliverables
  • Oversee on-site setup, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations during events
  • Assist in budget tracking and vendor contract management for cost-effective execution
  • Contribute to risk management planning and implement contingency solutions where needed
  • Participate in post-event analysis, collecting feedback and recommending improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Conference Production, Sales, and Event Ops
  • Report directly to the Director of Operations and keep internal stakeholders informed
  • Uphold compliance with company policies and maintain transparent communications with clients and vendors

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in event or project management (virtual and in-person)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience coordinating with venues and third-party vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities under pressure
  • Comfortable using digital event platforms, project management tools, and registration software
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken)
  • Hands-on, detail-focused, and calm under pressure
  • Team player with a flexible mindset and a positive attitude
  • Availability for occasional travel (as required for in-person events)
