For one of our clients – a leading software development company and award-winning game provider in the casino industry, creating immersive and innovative gaming experiences as part of an international tech group, we are on a lookout for confident and energetic people for the role – Experienced CCTV Technician Engineer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation and upkeep of core network components — including firewalls, switches, and routers — to ensure stable and secure connectivity;
- Design, configure, and maintain High Availability VPNs to ensure continuous, encrypted communication between multiple sites;
- Work in close coordination with the CCTV systems team to improve network efficiency, dependability, and system uptime;
- Carry out routine network surveillance and health checks using advanced tools to identify and resolve issues before they impact service;
- Apply firmware and software updates to network devices on a regular basis to eliminate security flaws and meet industry standards;
- Develop thorough technical documentation, such as network topology maps and configuration records, to support troubleshooting and operations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in network engineering roles;
- Cisco credentials (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or comparable certifications/training;
- Proficient in TCP/IP, switching technologies (VLANs, Spanning Tree), and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP);
- Solid understanding of VPN, QoS, and High Availability technologies (VRRP, HSRP, VSS, vPC, Multichassis EtherChannel);
- Knowledge of network security concepts including IPSec, UTM, DDoS protection, and Syslog protocol;
- Skilled in packet analysis using tools like Wireshark; Familiar with SNMP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP;
- Comfortable working in Linux environments;
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as ESXi and Proxmox.
