Experienced PL/SQL Developers

Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a degree in Computer Science or a related field, at least 4 years of programming experience and strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL or RDBMS. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The candidate will collaborate within an international Scrum team to extend, optimize and maintain components of a large-scale financial software package in the banking/financial industry. Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring up-to-date documentation, test coverage, and life-cycle management of existing solutions.

The role involves extending, optimizing, and maintaining components of a financial software package, implementing complex requirements in PL/SQL, collaborating within an international Scrum team and contributing to the life-cycle management of existing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Extend, optimize, and maintain multiple components of a large financial software package
• Implement complex requirements using PL/SQL
• Design technical concepts and specifications based on business requirements
• Collaborate within a self-organized international Scrum team
• Maintain up-to-date software documentation and tests
• Contribute to the life-cycle management of existing solutions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• More than four years of programming experience
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and solution engineering
• Familiarity with continuous integration toolsets is an advantage (training provided if needed)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset
• Oriented toward long-term cooperation and stability
• Banking or financial industry knowledge is an advantage
• Good proficiency in English or German is a plus
• Willingness to learn German and work in a German-speaking environment
• Knowledge of Java is beneficial but not required.
