Expert Internal Controls (Group)

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, documentation, and testing of a group-wide, tailored internal controls framework, including:      -Entity and process level scoping and risk assessment
    -Ongoing development of the risk-control matrix
    -Finetuning of the controls testing approach
    -Reviewing testing results and documentation
    -Drive resulting controls improvement opportunities
• Support ICS leadership with regular and ad-hoc ICS reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with business process owners and other GRAMMER governance functions to promote a strong controls mindset and ensure adequate risk coverage and ICS effectiveness
• Organize and monitor the annual ICS cycle
• Organize training sessions to enhance understanding of internal controls across the organization
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to further enhance the ICS framework, methodology, cadence, communication and impact
• Stay informed on organizational and regulatory changes, assessing their impact and ensuring the organization remains proactive and ICS-compliant

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal controls or (external) audit
• In-depth knowledge of internal controls frameworks
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German or any other language is a plus
• Effective communicator, able to build trust-based relationships across all levels
• Well-structured with strong analytical skills
• Ability to translate formal requirements into practical solutions
• Willingness to travel internationally
