DAES Service LLC (www.daesgroup.com), leading aviation company for aircraft maintenance and production support, based in Texas, USA with branch in Dubai, UAE is increasing the foothold in Europe. For the purposes of supporting our sales activities and our Principals in Europe, we are looking for a person to perform following activities.
Job description:
- Corrective, preventative, predictive maintenance and repairs of various aviation test and maintenance equipment;
- Comissioning and initial set up of equipment;
- Customer training;
- OEM modifications incorporation;
- Changes and programming of test program sets;
- Development of equipment predictive maintenance schedules and bill of materials for future maintenance;
- Troubleshooting of equipment;
- Development of troubleshooting procedures, troubleshooting online platform and manuals;
- Client’s remote assistance and guidance;
- Development of equipment internal training manuals and methods;
- Liaison with OEMs in all above aspects,
- Assistance / recommendation of existing equipment modification;
Your profile and competences:
- MSc in electrical, mechanical or mechatronics faculty;
- 3+ years experience in field service engineering;
- Capable of fluently reading and changing drawings and schematics;
- Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulical circuits and instrumentation;
- Fluent in written and spoken English including technical English is a must, all other languages are a plus;
- Implementation of programmable logic controllers (PLC) is considered a plus;
- Good understanding of system design of sensors and actuators;
- Good comand of automatic control;
- Profficient in various digital/analogue measurement techniques;
- Test / production system design change capable;
- Capable of programming in at least one programming language (C, C#, Python, VB, LabVIEW...). Knowledge of Linux operating system is considered a plus;
- Good diagnostics / troubleshooting rationale and remote assistance with the ability to create and improve troubleshooting advices, create troubleshooting manuals, and ability to improve the equipment through review of key repetative issues;
- MS office advance user (knowledge of Access and Excel macro programming is a plus);
- Willingness to frequently travel throughout Europe and other locations (up to 40% of working time);
- Good interpersonal skills and understanding of different working cultures; International exposure is a plus;
- Aviation experience is a plus;
- Ability to manage multi service agreements/contracts;
- Strong communication skills with capability to simply comunicate complex systems, and convey knowledge in a structured manor;
