Finance Business Partner - Consumer Business Unit

Summary

Among "Finance Business Partners" department, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner to reinforce our finance team for Consumer business unit (CBU).

With an annual turnover exceeding 2.4 billion euros, the Consumer Business Unit (CBU) from Proximus is a leading player in the Belgian residential telecommunications sector. CBU offers a comprehensive range of products, including internet, fixed voice, mobile, and TV services, available both as standalone offerings and bundled packages.

As a member of the CBU Finance Business Partners team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business by providing financial insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and companies. You will support both Finance Business Partner Affiliates and Finance Business Partner Sales & Commission throughout the financial cycle, including the analysis of monthly and quarterly results, the Rolling Forecast, the annual target, and the Long-Term Plan.

Responsibilities

• Approve and monitor investments in the digital field by conducting financial analyses on complex files (investment analyses, new product launches, promotions, ad hoc projects) and making relevant recommendations to maximize company value.
• Monitor and plan commissions paid to our indirect sales force partners, providing analyses to support decision-making regarding expense optimizations.
• Actively participate in the reporting, rolling forecast, budgeting, and Long-Term Plan processes. This includes gathering information on variances, seeking solutions with the business to meet targets, and reviewing submission assumptions.
• Conduct profitability analyses for affiliates in various areas (tariff changes, new service launches, investment files), translating business cases into financials and providing financial recommendations to senior management.
• Follow up on cash evolution and support Business Partner Affiliates on acquisition or divestment files.

Your Profile

• You have a university degree in a relevant field.
• You have 5+ years professional experience in finance.
• You have a fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• You are results-oriented, autonomous, and analytical.
• You have strong interest in numbers and analysis, with openness to new data management techniques.
• You enjoy a dynamic and challenging work environment.
• You are motivated by contributing to value creation and developing new analysis and reporting tools.
