Finance Controller

Job description

• Manage, coordinate and consolidate timely, accurate and well supported Budgets/ rolling forecasts for all P&L lines aligned with the guidance from Regional teams
• Lead the monthly YTD and YTG analysis and provide clear and concise commentary with proper variance analysis to the management. Capture risks and opportunities in forecasts, actively raise recommendations and pinpoint gaps to existing forecasts
• Support month-end-close process by conducting analysis of related accounts including reconciliations. Prepare period end adjustments when required (project related revenue accruals, provisions, etc.)
• Prepare monthly Finance reconciliation and lead Operational meeting with the affiliate teams
• Provide support and high-quality analysis to the CEO, CFO and other BU managers for budgeting, actuals and ad-hoc financial requests. Advise management in areas of profit maximization and resource allocation
• Continuously assess project profitability and recommend appropriate actions
• Perform cost control and ensure that all expenses are allocated to correct cost centers, accounts, and suggest corrective actions if needed. Perform actual vs forecast analysis to identify variances supported by relevant comments
• Regularly monitor key finance controls and provide back-up / evidence of their effectiveness. Support CFO in design and implementation of control activities that address risk points in all finance related processes
• Build relationship and align with all business unit managers to support overall organizational goals and objectives

Requirements

• University degree (ideally in Management/ Economics)
• At least 4 years of experience on Finance Controller or Finance analyst roles
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Good understanding of IFRS and Serbian GAAP
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Power point, Word)
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English and Serbian (both written and spoken)
