ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in numbers to join our team as a Finance Specialist for the Setvi team in Belgrade. This role will be integral in ensuring the financial health of our organization, supporting various functions, including financial reporting, analysis, planning, and operations in a supportive and collaborative international work environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist in processing employee payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Verify and maintain employee records, including hours worked, taxes, and deductions.
- Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable locally and in the USA.
- Handle company inquiries from internal and external sources.
- Maintain accurate, extensive financial records and process payments.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and documentation for audits.
- Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and compliance changes.
- Assist in preparing performing budget-to-actual comparisons, financial modeling, and investigating variances.
- Analyze financial data to support business decision-making, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provides accurate and solid reviews of the Balance Sheet, identifies risks, monitoring, and ways of mitigating them in the area of responsibility.
- Coordinate and maintain good partnerships with key collaborators (banks, accountants in Serbia and the USA, local and tax authorities).
KEY SKILLS
- 3+ years of proven experience in accounting/finance operations or a similar role with local and international companies, preferably within the SaaS industry.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Advanced computer, Google Drive, and Office applications (Especially Excel) skills.
- The ideal candidate must have a flexible schedule overlapping with USA EDT/EST three days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. CEST.
