Job Description

The Finance and Plant Controller will be responsible for financial planning and controlling with strong focus of our local production unit and its processes within the company Lmb Soft in Niš. The position is under the lead of the local Finance Director. It involves close cooperation with management, local and group finance teams, as well as active participation in budgeting, cost analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze variances between standard and actual production costs (including materials, labor, and machinery).
• Collaborate with sales, R&D, and production teams to evaluate product costing for new products.
• Prepare monthly closings and results analysis.
• Participate in the budgeting process, prepare budgets, and monitor investment projects (actual vs. budgeted costs).
• Prepare and analyze standard costs and production-related KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
• Contribute to monthly stock valuation and control, including deviation analysis and inventory oversight.
• Work closely with the local Finance Director and LMB-Group CFO on report preparation and consolidation.

Qualifications and Competencies

Professional Requirements:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration (e.g., Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Faculty of Economics).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling within a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken (B2/C1 level).
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros).
• Experience with BI tools (advantage: Business Objects – BO).
