TeleTrader is announcing the following vacancy within its Data Maintenance department:
Financial Market Specialist (Stock Exchange)
Main Tasks:
- Analyze the market data from external data sources and adapt it to fit the TeleTrader market data model
- Follow updates in the exchanges’ rules and regulations, vendors’ release cycles and analyze their impact on the internal system
- Quality assurance of market’s trading data - analysis and investigation of the issues
- Acquire know-how about market conventions on various exchanges (specifics about how instruments are traded, trading conditions, trading units, trading hours, etc)
- Write technical specifications and internal procedures
- Written and verbal communication with external stakeholders (e.g. clients, stock exchanges, data sources)
- Supporting other TeleTrader departments with data-related questions
Requirements:
- Educated in one of the following areas: Economics, Finance, Business or relevant work experience in the field of Capital Markets, Investment banking and trading
- Passionate about financial markets, its concepts, participants and structure, especially stock exchange market data and various asset classes (stocks, bonds, funds, derivatives, etc.)
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar software or technology
- Attention to details and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with peers
- Fluent written and spoken English
- SQL know-how is an advantage
- Familiarity with financial platforms such as Refinitiv, Bloomberg is a plus
