POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Financial Modeling Consultant with a strong background in managing financial models for SaaS companies, particularly those with both Product-Led Growth (PLG) and Sales-Led motions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SaaS business models and the nuances of PLG and Sales-Led growth strategies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can maintain and improve our financial models, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, department heads, and the executive team to gather necessary data and insights.
Financial Modeling: Maintain and enhance our existing financial model spreadsheet to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for management and stakeholders.
Scenario Planning: Develop and evaluate various financial scenarios to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets and financial projections.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial modeling for SaaS companies, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked with both PLG and Sales-Led models.
Skills: Proficiency in Excel and other financial modeling tools; strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, financial KPIs, and business models.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
