We are seeking a Fleet Lead! In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring optimal availability and performance of vehicles and material handling equipment to support business growth and sustainability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure fleet and handling equipment operate under optimal conditions and cost (TCO), meeting legal, safety, and internal standards.
- Align local fleet strategy with Group policies and operational plans.
- Lead day-to-day operations, define priorities, and allocate resources in line with supply chain and company goals.
- Manage budget, workforce planning, reporting, and corrective actions.
- Monitor performance and service quality, using internal feedback and market insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting, and compliance with internal, legal, and OEM/leasing standards.
- Develop and implement projects to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety and sustainability.
- Support driver and equipment operator training in collaboration with HSE and sustainability teams.
- Set clear goals for team members, recognize strong performance, and address underperformance promptly.
- Support team development through coaching, individual development plans, and succession planning.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and benchmarking to identify and implement best practices.
- Actively contribute to cross-functional projects and foster long-term supplier partnerships.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree (VI, VII) in Traffic Engineering, Organizational Sciences, Economics.
- SAP & Microsoft Office Proficiency.
- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
- English Language Proficiency.
