Freight Forward Agent

International Alexander d.o.o. is searching for a new freight forwarder colleague.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Medium/advanced English level, both written and speaking.
• High school or university degree
• PC operation knowledge (Windows, Excel)
• Previous experience in working as one of these positions: dispatch, freight forwarder, fleet control with minimum 1-year experience
• Serbian market experience in working with local carriers is a great advantage
• Organized person who can choose and make priorities
• Problem solving capabilities
• Attention to details
• Negotiation skills to buy and sell transports or other general goods
• Ability to work as independent or inside a team and under pressure
• Result oriented

 Job Description:

• Specific activities related to transport of general goods from Serbia to European Union or inside Serbia
• Follow-up of customer orders from the customer input to the closing of the job
• Handles fixed and non-fixed customer contracts and handles sales to carriers
• Handles the customers relationship and service while focusing on achieving quality standards
• Key account management of carriers
• Handles the customs agencies documents
• Daily price negotiations to achieve company targets
• Route optimization to decrease transport costs
• Daily follow ups of transports
• Extending the portfolio of carriers, partners and all stakeholders
• Input orders in our internal system and follow-up invoicing process and
