What would you do at KEBAWe are looking for a Frontend Developer (Medior or Senior level) to join our team in Novi Sad and work on drag&bot, a KEBA-acquired product focused on simplifying robot programming through intuitive drag-and-drop interfaces. The solution is now part of KEBA’s automation platform Kemro X, used in advanced industrial systems. You will become part of a cross-functional international team responsible for maintaining and evolving the drag&bot platform. This role involves both development and ownership: you will work on high-impact frontend features, ensure smooth integration with backend systems, and play a key role in the transition toward a Chromium-based frontend framework within the Kemro X ecosystem. In this position, you’ll be one of two full-time engineers working from Novi Sad (you as the main FE responsible; the other focused on ROS/backend), while the rest of the team is based in Germany and Austria. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in an agile environment and enjoys both independence and collaboration. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to work on other related projects within our company - in the near future - as they arise. Note: Our company's work mode is hybrid, with only 1 guaranteed day of Home Office work per week - more is negotiable depending on the role. |
Responsibilities:► Build and maintain modular frontend components for a complex robot programming interface ► Develop and refine UI dialogs and user roles (e.g., adding new fields, multilingual support) ► Troubleshoot and improve real-time 3D visualizations (e.g., enabling object interaction) ► Maintain and evolve the frontend build system (currently Webpack, transitioning to Angular CLI) ► Collaborate with backend engineers (Node.js/Express) and automation experts ► Improve performance, reduce memory leaks, and ensure scalability ► Contribute to the product migration from Electron to a Chromium-based platform within Kemro X
Requirements:► Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a MUST, Master's degree is preferred. ► 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development ► Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Angular, HTML, and SCSS ► Familiarity with Node.js or Express.js for backend integration ► Experience with component-based architecture and large-scale frontend applications ► Understanding of software versioning, Git workflows, CI/CD practices ► Problem-solving mindset and ability to take ownership of your work ► Strong communication skills and fluency in English
