LVH Global is a leading luxury vacation homes rental web-based platform. With a commitment to excellence and an expanding portfolio of properties, we are on the brink of converting our website into a comprehensive web application. Additionally, we operate multiple in-house systems, including proprietary property, destination, and content management systems, and a number of third-party systems used by the LVH team. Our systems are unified through a robust API.
Under the direct supervision of the Technology Development Manager, the Full-Stack Web Developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our website, internal systems, and other third-party systems, ensuring seamless integration with our backend systems, and contributing to the development of a more complex web app and a supporting internal team application.
Essential Functions:
- Design, develop and maintain the front-end and back-end of our responsive web application, JS-based team application, and platform API ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Integrate with third-party systems to facilitate business operations.
- Work with PHP, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies to implement new features and services.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager, Product Manager, and other development team members.
- Ensure data security and compliance with best practices in coordination with our DevOps team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across all layers of our stack.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Skill and Knowledge Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in full-stack web development.
- Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript.
- Experience with API development and integration.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Understanding of best practices in web security.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- English language proficiency.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS is a plus.
- Familiarity with system architecture and design principles is a plus.
