We are seeking an experienced professional to build upon their current success and drive continued growth in the position of:
General Manager (f/m)
Position description:
- Manage operations and drive business development within the designated area, ensuring effectiveness and achieving company targets
- Ensure seamless business operations adhering to Group and country regulations and relevant professional standards
- Oversee staff recruitment, training development and ongoing professional development of employees
- Lead brand positioning and overall marketing development
Performance Management & Target Achievement:
- Manages Performance to Achieve Key Targets Consistently and Deliver Continuous Improvement
- Drives the development and implementation of strategies to achieve financial targets and improve store profitability.
- Implements processes to ensure a customer-centric culture and resolve escalated customer complaints effectively.
- Collaborates with departmental managers to monitor team performance, provide coaching and development opportunities, and foster a positive work environment.
- Ensures effective processes and systems are in place to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Implement financial controls to secure success, manage cost efficiency, and adhere to the company policies
Key Success Criteria:
- Store profitability (Driven by various, sales, aftersales and cost management KPIs)
- Customer Delight (CEM and Mystery Shopper)
- Customer loyalty
- Colleague happiness, motivation development and retention
- Teamworking across the store
- Regular communication with central management and other key support teams
Financial management:
- Ensures that the stores financial reports and controls are adequate and accurate.
- Manages key financial measures (e.g. stocks etc) to agreed levels
- Sanctions and controls all expenditure for the store (either personally or via delegated structures)
- Works with the stores controlling & finance teams to produce accurate month end budgets
- Adheres to all company policies and controls
- Manage cost efficiencies within budgeted parameters
Team Development & Management:
- Works with managers to monitor staff training needs, and ensure that training and development plans are in place to meet them
- Works with managers to ensure that staff across the store are effectively recruited, managed, developed and rewarded
- Promotes teamworking and communication across the centre (e.g. by organising regular staff meetings)
Requirements
- At least bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics
- At least of five (5) years experiences in management positions
- Able to lead people with genuine sense for leadership
- Strong understanding of the Serbian market is preferred
- Proficient in English
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work without close supervision, with a target- and solution-driven approach
- Strong analytical, presentation, and planning skills
