YOUR TASKS WILL BE:

Responsible for acquisition calculations, product cost optimization projects, and topics related to advanced procurement.
Provides leadership to all teams under their supervision. Trains, mentors, and works on the development of directly subordinate employees while managing a high-performing team that delivers continuous improvements, added value, and cost reductions. Tracks/reports all relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team’s projects.
Creates and implements best practices in terms of vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procurement procedures to improve business performance.
Ensures that procurement strategies and processes are used to meet business goals and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery objectives, enabling the company to operate efficiently and compete effectively in the market. This includes: terms and conditions, supplier selection/cancellation, evaluation and streamlining of supply chain solutions, including inventory managed by the vendor, supplier shipments, and safety stocks.
Provides support and escalation in emergency situations.
Responsible for the cost estimation of materials and tools for projects based on specific material listings during the acquisition phase.
Works closely with the R&D department to explore new and alternative materials, components, and suppliers in the global market.
Responsible for advanced technology projects to meet deadlines, quality, and cost objectives.
Acts as an interface between project procurement and product development/R&D.
Analyzes new manufacturing technologies and procurement markets.

WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

Minimum VI level of education in technical, economic, or social sciences.
Requires 5 years of professional experience in procurement and/or the automotive industry, with initial experience in managing and developing employees being preferred
Strong negotiator, leadership skills, teamwork, and ability to manage a team.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
