HR Assistant

In this position, you will help organize, coordinate, and carry out all human resource department tasks and processes for the company. You will work directly with and assist the Human Resources Manager to fulfil a variety of necessary HR tasks.

You will also help maintain positive employee relations and work to ensure worker satisfaction through education of HR policies and fostering a positive work environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the HR Manager regarding all HR topics.
• The support HR department in educating employees on and enforcing company policies
• Assist in the entire hiring process of employees, including recruitment, interviews, and tracking of new possible candidates
• Foster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that surface
• Abide by company-enforced HR processes and current employment laws and regulations
• Under the leadership of the HR Manager, be a vital source of human resources information, answering any questions employees may have

Skills and experience required to be a successful HR Assistant:

• Articulate, confident, and fluent communicators demonstrating a high level of both oral and written English
• Comfortable working in a highly visible role
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and most importantly, personable and approachable
• Willing to take the initiative and work independently when needed
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
• Strong skills using Microsoft Office
• Driving licence
• A keen interest in a career in HR
