As the HR Business Partner (HRBP), you’re responsible for optimizing our team’s growth, wellbeing, and performance, and will make sure our initiatives and efforts are aligned with our business goals.

You’ll act as a consultant on human resources management and will partner with the department leaders where you will support, coach and guide them and their teams through their growth journey. This role supports both our leaders in Serbia as well as those in EMEA. You’ll be also overseeing and guiding organizational changes and will work closely with the Business Partners in our Headquarter in the US.

In addition to having a solid knowledge of traditional HR practices, the ideal candidate will also have an acute awareness of the latest trends in the market when it comes to best practices on employee experiences.

To be successful in this role, you should also possess exceptional organizational skills, strong emotional intelligence, high ethical standards, and be capable of carrying out multiple projects while prioritizing tasks

This position reports to the General Manager, Serbia and is based in Belgrade.



  • Consult with managers and leaders to craft and implement meaningful strategies to retain, engage and develop high performing teams.
  • Be a trusted coach and advisor; help our leaders work through challenges and drive growth and change within their organizations.
  • Partner with people leaders to assess teams and identify training opportunities. Deliver a progressive, right-sized, and effective learning and development program.
  • Strengthen our HR programs and processes by building innovative and scalable frameworks in areas like Performance Management, L&D, Onboarding, Compensation & Benefits.
  • Apply analytical rigor to dive deeply and report on market trends. Conceptualize action plans to proactively address concerns and provide meaningful solutions.
  • Partner with other Global HR team members to drive diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Advise and support managers on compensation initiatives
  • Manage employee relations with grace, compassion and integrity.
  • Be an ambassador of TeleSign’s values and foster a supportive culture in everything you do.
  • Perform other duties as assigned on an ad hoc basis.

Essential Requirements

  • University Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as HRBP is required, preferably in the ICT industry.
  • Consistent growth and achievement within the HR function.
  • Excellent personal skills where he/she can work with team members and leaders from all levels of the organization and across regions.
  • Ability to adapt global approaches to local needs.
  • Ability to consolidate digestible information and deliver in an articulated, relatable, and refined manner.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person or virtually.
  • Flexibility to address needs or ad-hoc requests from different regions.
  • Prior experience working with HR tools, such as Workday or Greenhouse is helpful, but not required.
