Context
Within the General management department and HR Operations team, this role consists of providing support in smoothly running human resources operations mostly on local level but as well contributing indirectly to global HR projects.
Key responsibilities:
HR Administration and Management:
- Participates in managing HR administration throughout the entire employment lifecycle, including handling employment contracts, annexes, and exit documentation.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for employees regarding all HR-related matters for NIS office mostly but in absence of HR Manager for Belgrade office as well.
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Conducts the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure the recruitment process aligns with the company's goals.
Employee Relations:
- Together with the local HR Manager helps in managing employee relations, addressing concerns and conflicts while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture;
- If needed, participates in conducting investigations and provides guidance on disciplinary actions when necessary
- Suggests and contributes to implementation employee engagement initiatives.
Performance Management:
- Provides support in Performance Management process to leaders- managers when needed.
- Together with the local HR manager works with leaders- managers to identify and address performance issues and support employee development.
Training and Development:
- Together with the local HR manager collaborates with department heads to identify training needs and develop effective training programs;
- Together with the local HR manager facilitates professional development initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Collaborate with local HR manager in developing and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations;
- Creates job descriptions and Rulebook on internal Organization and Systematization of Workplaces;
- Maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of the internal HR systems;
Team management and collaboration:
- Collaborates with the rest of the Global HR Team for the success of all key HR Activities and Global projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus;
- Proven experience as an HR generalist (has experience with whole employee life cycle). Experience working in an international environment would be a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Self-starter mindset and roll-up-your-sleeves attitude;
- Excellent level of English is mandatory.
Hierarchy and interactions:
Reports to the local HR Manager for Serbia office and works closely with global HR team.
