For an ongoing construction project Techmedia is searching for energetic, proactive and motivated HSE Supervisor.
Location: construction site in suburban settlement of Belgrade
We are looking for a hands-on HSE Supervisor, an Engineer with a strong focus and experience in environmental procedures, to oversee HSE requirements at the construction site in the suburban settlement of Belgrade. In this role you will ensure that polices are implemented, that the relevant legal compliance is being adhered to, whilst maintaining a positive HSE culture at the site.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance to corporate and legislative requirements
- Administer all of the necessary documentation
- Identify and implement controls to reduce the environmental impacts and health & safety risk associated with site operations
- Monitor and report on HSE performance across the site, ensure effective record keeping and that reporting is maintained at all times
- Assist and monitor subcontractors’ HSE personnel
REQUIREMENTS
- Licensed to work as an HSE / Environmental engineer in the Republic of Serbia
- Bachelor's degree or higher related to environmental protection
- Minimum 5 years prior experience working as an Environmental engineer / supervisor
- Active driver (having its own vehicle is a plus)
- Good knowledge of English language (both written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Ability and willingness to work 6 days per week (Monday-Saturday) and 10-hour shifts, including Holidays
