Job Summary:
The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for a variety of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple HR tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and hiring.
- Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions and specifications.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
- Foster a positive workplace environment through employee engagement initiatives.
Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant benefits regulations and policies.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes and provide support to managers and employees.
- Track and report on performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an HR role.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Works well with others and contributes to a positive team environment.
