Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst Level III
(2 positions)
Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our QA group. Our growing Engineering department needs talented people who possess strong deductive reasoning, extreme attention to detail, persistence, patience and creativity. This position will work with Engineers, Developers and Product Managers to develop, maintain, and execute quality assurance testing procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts for use interface, functionality, system and ad-hoc testing
- Execute regression tests, functional tests and data tests
- Document quality assurance practices
- Report, track and determine priority of reported bugs
Job Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering (ETF, FON, PMF) or the equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Agile Development methodologies and frameworks including Scrum and XP for managing the entire software development lifecycle
- Experience with Jira issue tracking software, TestLink, Test Complete or equivalent software applications
- Well-versed in all testing methodologies (white vs. black box test work, system vs. functional)
- Well-versed in software process methodologies
- A solid understanding of quality assurance as part of the development process
- Detail oriented and a problem solver
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced level English language communication skills
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
IT System Administrator/Manager
(1 position)
Position Summary: Responsible for provisioning, installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining all hardware and software systems to support the infrastructure of the company. In addition, this position assists with troubleshooting IT problems, backing up the system, archiving and disaster recovery, and providing expert support when necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responds to daily helpdesk requests from office and remote users by troubleshooting issues or problems and identifying solutions.
- Handles installations and setups of all desktop, server and peripheral equipment.
- Ordering of new IT equipment.
- Actively maintains and controls access rights and permissions for users of all IT assets, via Active Directory, as per users’ needs and requirements for their positions.
- Maintains records and documentation on all elements of IT systems and upgrades, backing up the servers on a daily and weekly basis.
- Monitors network security, users’ activity and daily trends, and responds to unusual events.
- Monitors daily status of regional network (LAN/WAN), resources (hard disk space, CPU utilization, bandwidth availability) via automated tools and manual methods.
- Maintains level of service and access permissions for specific applications (such as Exchange, FTP, etc.)
- Manages the company VoIP telephone system based on Asterisk platform.
- Supports the other departments when IT-related issues are combined with product installation.
- Keeps up with the IT industry by actively following publications, sites and trends.
Job Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or relevant work experience.
- Cisco, Microsoft or related certifications are a definite asset.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in IT with some management-level responsibility.
- Knowledge of network TCP/IP, routing and services (DNS, DHCP)
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Active Directory (setup, configuration, maintenance)
- Advanced knowledge of Linux system administration (setup, configuration, maintenance) is a definite asset
- Strong organizational skills to include multi-tasking and time management skills.
