We are hiring an Individual Giving Manager to join our fundraising team.
Individual giving manager
Location: Belgrade, fixed-term, 2 years (maternity leave coverage)
Mission and Purpose of the Position
• Strategically and operationally manages, implements, and analyzes fundraising activities targeting individual donors (citizens).
• Plans workflows and monitors results to achieve established operational goals.
• Coordinates channels for acquiring recurring donations from individuals, as well as activities of the telemarketing and donor loyalty teams.
• The key objective is to ensure the financial sustainability of the organization’s programs, in line with its vision, mission, values, internal regulations, and policies.

• Development of innovative methods for securing recurring donations from individuals

Key Responsibilities
• Effectively manages the individual giving team.
• Develops work plans and ensures the achievement of set goals—plans, organizes, monitors, and evaluates fundraising activities in accordance with planning and reporting procedures, using relevant performance indicators.
• Designs and develops fundraising campaigns across various channels to increase donor engagement and contributions.
• Continuously monitors and analyzes performance, processes, procedures, and team structure, implementing changes to optimize efficiency.
• Builds and maintains long-term relationships with individual donors.
• Oversees team performance, supports professional development and training, sets goals, and conducts regular evaluations.
• Keeps up-to-date with trends and best practices in individual donor fundraising.
Competencies
• Higher education in social sciences, economics, marketing, or management.
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience, preferably in direct donor acquisition.
• Experience in project/program management (budgeting, monitoring, evaluation).
• Preferred: Knowledge of fundraising processes in the non-profit sector.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and networking skills.
• Ability to make quick, effective decisions in day-to-day management of field operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferred: Experience with database management.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Valid category B driver’s license; active driver.
