Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for the following in a candidate:

• Education: High school diploma (IV level), Microsoft CISCO Academy certification, or relevant IT experience
• Experience: Minimum of four (4) years in a similar role
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of server infrastructure, network infrastructure and routing, application infrastructure, operational procedures, and security protocols
• Work Ethic: Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Personal Traits: High level of motivation and personal responsibility
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and strong cooperation abilities

Your tasks would include:

• Manage and Oversee Services: Manage and oversee services under your direct control (Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft Hyper V, DNS and DHCP services, Office 365 Services, Azure Services, storage systems) during the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the system.
• Change Management: Oversee and manage changes within the IT infrastructure.
• Security Protocol Design and Ratification: Design, implement, and ratify security protocols.
• Risk Analysis and Management: Conduct risk analysis and manage risks associated with the IT infrastructure.
• Firewall and Routing: Manage procedures and operational work related to firewall and routing.
• Manage Network devices: Fortinet, Check Point, Mikrotik, Cisco and Unifi.
• IT Services Utilization and Improvement: Identify, implement, and utilize IT services to enhance business and infrastructure technology and market intelligence.
• Project Management: Manage IT projects in coordination with the manager.
• Impact Assessment: Assess the impact of changes and improvements within the IT infrastructure.
• Security Administration: Administer security measures and controls.
• Anti-Virus & Anti-Spam Procedures: Implement and manage anti-virus and anti-spam operational procedures.
• System Upgrades and Patches: Perform system upgrades and patches to maintain and enhance systems.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation regarding systems, procedures, and architecture.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations and prepare for audits.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery (Veeam, DPM): Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
• Capacity Planning: Plan system capacity to ensure it meets future demands.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues within the infrastructure.
• Coordination and Collaboration: Contribute to coordination and collaboration with other employees in the IT department.
