Injection Production Team Leader

 The main responsibilities would be:

•  Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the operations shift team (including key support department team members) to meet targets for product quality, customer delivery and cost whilst ensuring a safe work environment at all times;
• Regular communication and cooperation with the Production Engineer, Planning Specialist and other relevant departments, in case of malfunctions during production, workforce absenteeism, lack of material/equipment and similar issues;
• Daily communication with Team Leader from the previous shift, to compare the information in the Shift Plan List, to determine the actions to be taken, if any, and to follow the process;
• Organization of production in accordance with the production plan and work schedule, instructing mold operators to make adjustments and replacement of molds on the machine, if there is a need for it, as well as the organization of production work during breaks;
• Putting the machine into operation by setting the parameters according to pre-defined values according to the Production Plan and filling in the appropriate documentation and verifying the correctness of the completed document, as well as taking the necessary actions if an unexpected situation occurs;
• Opening work orders to other departments through the system (IFS) for the realization of activities related to production activities and a material request through the system (IFS) for indirect materials used in production and to procure/provide it from the Indirect Warehouse;
• Controlling the cleanliness and order in the work areas in the area of responsibility according to the 5S rules and ensuring that the wastes generated during production operations are separated by the Production Operators and disposed of in defined areas;
• Organization of production activities so that they take place within the stipulated time, quality and costs with available resources in accordance with the projects that have been created for the department;

 Qualifications:

• High school Mechanical technician, Industrial mechanic;
• Experience in the automotive industry, especially with injection moulding machines and Plastic technology;
• Plastic injection raw material knowledge like PMMA, ABS, PC and PA;
• Knowledge about the plastic injection set-up and mold change;
• Willingness to learn and further improve knowledge and skills;
• Knowledge of the English language.
