As the Insurance Technical Assistant for OIP, you will assist the Insurance Underwriter in identifying and measuring the risk associated with an activity and obtaining and processing information properly and on time for our client in France. If you are fluent in French and English, ready to work in an international environment, with clearly defined tasks and the support of our team, OIP is the place for you.  

Requirements: 

  • Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, at an intermediate level or higher
  • BA degree with 2 years of working experience or a high school diploma with 5 years of experience in administrative jobs
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including fast typing, familiarity with Google Docs or MS Office
  • Attention to detail and meticulous work, including analyzing data and proofreading
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and specialize in the field of insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support for personal and commercial lines insurance underwriters
  • Identifying and measuring the risk associated with an activity
  • Analyzing, interpreting, and processing information relevant to potential risk
  • Determining the insured's loss exposure, coverage, premium and conditions to be fulfilled
  • Carefully making decisions by following established insurance guidelines and procedures
  • Issuing insurance-related documentation
  • Collecting financial and statistical information for insurance underwrites and assisting in analyzing
  • Deciding if insurance can be provided to an individual or organization
  • Inputting relevant data and preparing quote letters and other required policy documentation
